Voltage is the energy of
electrons. It is measured by a
voltmeter and is measured in
volts!
Current is the flow (number) of
electrons. It is measured in
Amps. The component used to
measure the current is called
an ammeter!

Series circuit: My series circuit is about an egg and spoon race. The
people (electrons) pick up an egg (energy) and travel to the finish line. At
this point they leave there eggs and travel back to the start to get another
egg and try again. The start is the battery or cell and the finish is the
component. The pink circles are the people and the blue circles are the
eggs. The electrons use up there energy by giving it to the component so
that it can work it goes back to the start to pick up more energy. They only
travel in one direction. The arrows show which way that is. The current
stays the same. (how many players) but the voltage changes. (eggs)
Parallel circuit: My parallel circuit is about rockets going from earth to take
equipment to different planets to find out information. Earth is the battery or
cell. Mars and Jupiter are the components. The rockets are the electrons and
the equipment inside are the energy. The rockets drop off the equipment on
the planet and have to travel back to earth to pick up more. ( Like the energy
being used to make the component work.) Some of the rockets travel to
different planets to take equipment. The arrows show which way the rockets
travel because they can only travel one way. The current stays the same. (
how many rockets) but the voltage changes. (amount of equipment)
