
Sirius is a binary star (a star system with two stars in it), because
Sirius has two stars in it’s system. There is a Sirius A and Sirius B.
Right now Sirius is a low mass/medium size star.
1.Sirius was born as a nebula
2. Then it became a low mass/medium sized protostar.
3.Then it went into what it is now; a low mass/medium size star.
4. Next it will become a red giant, then a planetary nebula.
5. After this it becomes a white dwarf.
6. Then finally it becomes black dwarf and dies off.
