The Process
 The project took many weeks to compile enough facts
to backup my thesis.

Eating Right Every Day
 This disparity between low income and wealthier
populations in nutrition has been caused by
socioeconomic factors include income, food prices,
accessibility and nutrition knowledge. This gap can be
closed by educating Americans about nutrition and
healthy low-cost eating habits, improving government
programs and encouraging smart shopping and food
consumption.

Accessibility
Focus on fruits
 Dallas’ Wards 7 and 8 only have one grocery store per
70,000 people which causes congestion in stores and
probably frequents sell outs of food
 Chicago, Illinois supermarkets numbers are low in the
about 1 million populated Southside compared to the
Northside
 In Los Angeles Where 10-20% of household income is less
than the $35,000/yr, there are over 3 times as many
supermarkets as in those where 60-70% of the
households earn less than $35,000/yr.
