Part of SmartSight network video solution, the E-S1100w is the industry’s first wireless
Ethernet (802.11b) video transmitter to transmit digital video & audio over license-free
wireless bands (5.3 and 5.8 GHz). Frequency channels are selectable.
The E-S1100w integrates MPEG-4-based digital compression for robust performance
over wireless IP networks and very low bandwidth usage. Unlike analog video transmitters and 802.11b wireless technology, the E-S1100w integrates secure SSL-based
authentication and AES encryption to prevent eavesdropping or hacking. It delivers high-quality full frame rate video and it is the perfect product to deploy cam eras
in hard to wire locations, or to quickly extend the reach of your wired CCTV system.
Communication with the ‘home’ network is via the with SmartSight E-S3100 series
outdoor access points.
WIRELESS
VIDEO & DATA
The E-S1100W digitises/encodes video from analog video cameras and transmits it over
license-free 5 GHz wireless bands. An integrated auto-sensing serial port allows the user
to connect a variety of supported PTZ or speed dome cameras to the E-S1100W. Users
are then able to remotely control these cameras by transmitting data from the IP software. The transmitted video/audio/data is connected to the IP network via a compatible
E-S3100 wireless bridge. From here the video is decoded by the Omnicast IP software
and recorded or viewed accordingly.

Bi-Directional audio is integrated into the E-S1100W. This is an extremely useful function which allows the user to listen to what’s happening at the camera point, as well as
talking to the point. Typical applications include remote gate surveillance and intercom
