“When you come to the edge
you know, and
of all the
are about to
step off into the darkness
of the unknown,
is knowing one of two
things will happen: There will be
something to stand on, or
you will be taught to

The Breast Cancer Assistance Program (BCAP) Fund has raised over
$200,000 and helped over 100 patients since its inception in 2006.
Our Board has worked diligently to provide the most support for
those undergoing breast cancer treatment in Tulsa – Northeast
Oklahoma, while developing a robust organization to support our
continued growth.
Today, BCAP finds itself at a crossroads. While we desire to continue
our events and patient support, we realize we must focus internally
as well to ensure the organization’s longevity. In this vein, BCAP will
be spending 2013 focused on strategic planning and patient
expansion.
Most importantly, please note that while we further develop our
Board and infrastructure, we will also focus diligently on supporting
our patients. We will continue the regular review and approval of
patient applications and enable our organization to provide more
patient assistance in the future.
We appreciate your continued support as we work through this
transition. We believe BCAP will be bigger and better in the future
based on our focused efforts this year. If you have any questions
about this information or how it might impact you, please contact us
at [email protected].

BCAP Fund is a 501 c(3) organization governed by local Tulsa volunteers who provide financial assistance to breast
cancer patients undergoing debilitative cancer treatments. Recipients are chosen from the following counties in
Oklahoma: Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Kay, Mayes, Muskogee, Nowata, Okmulgee, Osage, Ottawa,
Pawnee, Rogers, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington. Our candidate committee meets monthly to select deserving
recipients for short term rent, mortgage and utility assistance. Funds are raised through events, corporate donations,
grants and private donations. No amount is too small.
