students to gain a practical experience in a sports related program. We raised
and presented the sum of $175 to the Boys’ and Girls’ Club of Carbondale. It
was titled “Sports Trivia for Charity”. In Fall, 2012, I repeated this activity
with my Sports Reporting students and we raised and presented $312 to the
same Club. We repeated the same activity in Spring, 2014 and raised $300
which was donated the same club.
