DigiBit has adapted its new aria music server to work inside the OPPO BDP105 and OPPO BDP-105D. By installing a small, internal, ultra low-power
computer board and an EMI shielded power supply, aria works
independently of the other OPPO 105 functionality. No soldering is required,
just plug some connectors.
Designed by and for music lovers and audiophiles, aria is the first hi-end
music server to support an unlimited number of metadata fields, so that it
exceeds the limits of other players which can only show and tag the fields for
genre, album, artist, track, and in some cases, composer. This facility allows
the user to sort and view their music collection in multiple ways. In the case
of classical music: albums from the romantic (Period) for piano (Instrument),
played by Maurizio Pollini (Soloist).
For your convenience, we have predefined 18 fields for selection and
visualization that will allow you to browse and view your music collection
according to criteria used by most collectors. These 18 predefined fields
match the tagging structure from our proprietary classical music database,
SonataDB. You can also add or delete fields at will.
