Ken Partyka - Saxophone Artist - 4PM
Chicago Saxophonist Ken Partyka enjoys a multi-faceted career in the music business, which spans over twenty years as a performer, educator, bandleader and composer/arranger. Ken also leads the New Standard Quintet, which recently released its debut CD “The Many Faces” and the New
Standard Jazz Orchestra. Over his career, Ken has backed up celebrities such as Frankie Valli, The Temptations, The Spinners, Mel Torme, Arturo
Sandoval and Frankie Avalon. He has recorded on numerous commercially released CDs, most notably with the band Sonia Dada. As a member of
various ensembles, Ken has performed at some of the largest venues in the country, including the Chicago Jazz Festival, the New Orleans Jazz &
Heritage Festival and the legendary Red Rock. - RSVP
Ernesto Fernandez - Flute Artist - 4PM
Ernesto Fernandez was born in Havana, Cuba in 1989 and began studying flute at the age of six. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Honors
College at FUI. Ernesto Fernandez is currently an Adjunct Professor of Music at Miami Dade College and at Barry University, where he teaches
flute. He is also pursuing a degree of Doctor of Musical Arts in Instrumental Performance with an emphasis in Music Business at the Frost School of

Andy Smith - Tuba Artist - 4PM
Andy is the tubist with the Lyric Opera Orchestra of Chicago. Andy, from Amarillo, Texas, received his Bachelor of Music degree from Texas
Tech University, where he studied with Kevin Waas. Prior to winning the Lyric Opera position, he was a student of Dan Perantoni at the Jacobs
School of Music and was a highly sought after tubist in Texas, where he performed regularly with the Amarillo, Lubbock, and Big Spring Symphonies. His appearance is provided courtesy of the Buffet Group (B&S Tubas) - RSVP
Chris O’Hara - Trumpet Artist - 4PM
Chris O’Hara is an internationally renowned trumpet soloist, a chamber musician, and an educator. His playing is described as “virtuosic and impressive in every way” (Chicago Music Examiner), and “a treat beyond measure” (Arlington Advocate), and the International Trumpet Guild Journal hails him as a “true master of [the] instrument.” His current ensemble, the Alliance Brass Quintet has been a regular contributor at the Chicago

Lance LaDuke - Euphonium Artist - 4PM
Lance LaDuke is internationally known as an educator, writer, speaker and performer and teaches at Carnegie Mellon University, as Artist Lecturer
in Euphonium, Freshman Advisor and Coordinator of Special and Creative Projects. . He is also Adjunct Professor of Euphonium at Duquesne University. Lance is a former member of international touring quintet Boston Brass, the United States Air Force Band in Washington DC and the River
