Christoffer Nobin – Conductor Christoffer Nobin concludes this season with the London Symphony Orchestra in London and Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie in Berlin. This season ends on a high note for the young Swedish conductor Christoffer Nobin. A season which has already held several important debuts (e.g. the Royal Opera House in Stockholm and the Malmö Opera) and re-invitations (Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie, Norrköping Symphony Orchestra, Malmö Symphony Orchestra, Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra and Wermland Opera to name a few). During the last month of this season Christoffer conducts his final concert with the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, a concert which ends his two-year contract (including 12 productions) with them. He then moves on to conduct a unique concert for the president of Germany at Schloss Bellevue in Berlin with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie (his 7th engagement with them in 2 years). Next stop is the opera house in Gothenburg, where Christoffer conducts the very first "Side by side", an El Sistema production which is to be the largest orchestra camp for children in the world (this year more than 600 young musicians played in the orchestra). This event also marks the start of Christoffer's official collaboration with El Sistema Sweden. The final event of this busy month is at Abbey Road Studio One in London, where Christoffer conducts the London Symphony Orchestra in the recording of the music for Candy Crush II, the sequel of the most successful computer game ever. Less than 3 years after his debut concert, Christoffer Nobin has already established himself as a regular guest with most of the Swedish symphony orchestras, and he works regularly in opera houses in Sweden and Denmark. As assistant conductor to conductors such as Paavo Järvi and Louis Langrée Christoffer has also worked in major venues like the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Großes Festspielhaus in Salzburg, Barbican Center in London, Téâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris and Minato Mirai Hall in Tokyo. In addition to this, Christoffer is one of the most sought after arrangers of orchestra music in Sweden, and a very prolific composer. He has composed and arranged numerous works for orchestra, chorus, television and the stage, Crescendi Artists [email protected] | www.crescendiartists.com and his first opera will be premiered in November this year.
