‘Everything is Beautiful’ When Multi-Talented Comedian, Singer and Composer
Ray Stevens Visits Mill Town Music Hall
Grammy award-winning entertainer will perform two shows on April 16
BREMEN, Ga. (March 10, 2016) – Renowned comedian and musician Ray Stevens will perform two shows at
Mill Town Music Hall on Saturday, April 16 at 3p.m. and 8p.m. EST. For more than 50 years, Stevens’ talent
has entertained through pop classic creations such as Everything is Beautiful to his Grammy Award winning
arrangement of Misty. He has even created his own genre of comedy classics. Rising country music star,
singer and songwriter Kelsie May will be the opening act. Mill Town Music Hall focuses on wholesome,
family-friendly music and events and is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Avenue).
Stevens was born in Georgia, where he was exposed to multiple genres of music. During his teenage years,
he wrote his first song, Silver Bracelet. At Georgia State University, he studied classical piano and music
theory; however, he left during his junior year to pursue his passion of music. While working for Mercury
Records in Nashville, he used his piano and vocal skills to recorde Ahab from Arab, which made it all the
way to Number 5 on the charts. When Stevens got the opportunity to host The Andy Williams show in the
summer of 1970, he produced and sang his first Number 1 hit on the pop charts, Everything is Beautiful.
The song landed him a Grammy for Male Vocalist of the Year. His next Number 1 song was The Streak. He
also received a Grammy in Best Arrangement for his remake of Misty. Through the years, Stevens has
released special collection videos and CDs. Currently, he is hosting a 30-minute television show on RFD-TV
called, Ray Stevens’ Nashville.
Tickets for both Ray Stevens shows are $60 for “premium reserved” and $55 for “reserved” in advance.
