Jennie Muskett has established an International reputation as a film composer, having written scores for Miramax, Paramount, Disney, IMAX, BBC Films and many more. “Her music was literally a revelation,” said Coolidge. More recently, she has turned her hand to song writing and penned an album due out later this year. She was lead producer of the album Boys Don’t Cry for the multi-platinum artist, Rumer (Atlantic Records.) Among other tracks on the album, she arranged and produced the single PF Sloan. “Jennie is a highly gifted musician, composer and producer. I am very proud of the projects we have worked on together.” Rumer Born and raised in a musical family, Jennie Muskett trained at the prestigious Royal College of Music. By chance, the opportunity to spend several months in the Kalahari Desert became a turning point and this first inspiring encounter with the natural world led to countless commissions from many of the worlds most renowned natural history film makers. Jennie’s work in this area has inevitably received worldwide praise, winning her 2 Emmy’s and 5 Emmy nominations. Jennie’s passion for the environment and her fascination with the natural world inspired a unique and diverse ethnicity in her work, and provided a myriad of opportunities to explore and develop original and innovative ways to write. This originality and flair is evident in her high profile British scores, including BBC Films critically acclaimed and exquisite MISS AUSTEN REGRETS, COMPULSION starring Ray Winston, and the Golden Globe nominated series, THE STATE WITHIN. In addition, Muskett’s score for the hit BBC series “SPOOKS” (MI-5) earned her two BAFTA nominations and her trademark theme clearly identifies this popular program. Jennie has a studio in LA and another in Highgate, London and divides her time between Hollywood and England. MISS AUSTEN REGRETS (2008) BBC FILMS / PBS Masterpiece Theatre Dir.
