Brian Way
For almost twenty years Brian has worked in the music industry as a composer, arranger,
accompanist, adjudicator, guest performer, producer, actor, teacher, and has appeared on over
thirty albums. Brian has been musical director for many musicals such as “CHICAGO,” “CATS,” AND
“OUR DIVAS DO CHRISTMAS,” and “GYPSY”. Brian has also produced music for television, radio, and
various recording artists.
In recent years Brian has worked and collaborated internationally with artists such as Mickey
Dolenz of “The Monkeys”, Bobby Arvon of “Happy Days”, Jon Bowmann of “Sha Na Na”, Philip
Smith- principal trumpet of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra Bobby McFerrin, and David
Foster.
In April of 2006, Brian completed a masters’ degree in piano performance at Memorial University
where he studied with Dr. Kristina Szutor. In 2007 Brian received the Music NL Sideman of the year
award and has worked the past two seasons with Rising Tide Theatre in Trinity.
