David Nevue biography notable facts: David is a self-taught pianist who resides in Springfield, Oregon with his wife and two children. He recorded his first album in 1991 and has since released nine CDs of his original piano works, including Postcards from Germany, the #5 most played album on the radio for its genre in 2003. David’s Christmas CD, O Come Emmanuel, was nominated for best holiday album by the Lifestyle Music Awards. David’s music can be heard on over 220 radio programs world-wide. David works full-time in the music business and promotes his music both via the Internet and at concert performances across the country. He has shared the stage with David Lanz, Suzanne Ciani, Mike Strickland and dozens of other pianists during his travels. In addition to his work as a pianist, David is the author of How to Promote Your Music Successfully on the Internet and the founder of The Music Biz Academy, an educational web site for musicians. Though classically trained at the famed Juilliard School in New York, Dulin maintains a multi-faceted career as a performer, producer/arranger, and creator of original music for radio, television, film, and theatre. He also continues to enjoy popularity as a session musician, and recently completed a six month tour with the legendary Temptations. Dulin has performed as a solo pianist throughout the U.S., including an appearance at New York’s Carnegie Hall. His international performances include Warsaw, Poland, and performances on Swedish national television. Dulin is a full time musician, head of Equity Digital, his own recording label, and is a managing partner of PSI, a digital recording facility in Birmingham, Alabama. The One I Waited For, Michael’s debut piano solo CD, was New Age Reporter’s #1 CD for three months in a row. Atmospheres, his follow-up CD also led the charts as a #1 CD pick. Both CDs were among the top 10 in World Radio Play for 2003. Now, five years after quitting her corporate banking job to be a full-time musician, the Independent Music Awards finalist has received the Delaware Division of the Arts Individual Artist Fellowship three times —for Solo Recital in 2000 and 2004, and for Jazz Performance in 2002. She has performed in Europe and South America, and throughout the United States. Charlton has been profiled in several national publications, including Southern Living and GLAMOUR magazines. Her music has been heard in over 80 million households, on the Lifetime, Oxygen, HGTV, and Travel TV networks, on Apple Macintosh computer desktops, and on radio stations throughout the world. Charlton played her commissioned work "A Dance for Argentina" in Buenos Aires, and was the featured artist at the Philadelphia Kimmel Center's First Anniversary Celebration, preceding a concert by solo pianist George Winston. She has also performed in concert with cellist and Grammy Nominee David Darling. In 2004, she performed at the NARM industry conference, whose roster of 34 artists included Tears for Fears, Chick Corea, and The Blind Boys of Alabama. Her appearance was one of 15 highlighted in Billboard magazine as a noteworthy conference act. Charlton’s fourth piano album, The Undershore, features flutist Nikkos, who has millions of fans in Japan and Europe. The album debuted at #3 on the NAR worldwide instrumental music radio charts. In 1985 Urquhart was hired as Bernstein’s musical assistant, and worked for Bernstein until the composer’s death in 1990. Craig also served for many years as a member of the music faculty at the Harlem School of the Arts, and was actor Tom Hulce's musical coach for the Academy Award winning film Amadeus. Urquhart’s five solo piano albums are conceived as separate journeys, exploring the power of nature and music. His latest album Streamwalker was honored in the Contemporary Instrumental Top Twenty of 2004 by Michael Debbage of Wind and Wire and named one of the Top Ten of 2004 by Solo Piano Publications. Urquhart has been interviewed on ASCAP's Audio Portraits, National Public Radio and the BBC Radio 3. He has also been interviewed for Solo Piano Publications, the Baldwin/Gibson Magazine and NAR. The magazine Piano Today has twice featured compositions by Craig. His performance career started at the age of 9 when his father would encourage him to entertain dinner guests. At eighteen, he began to frequent the clubs. Formal music studies at Berklee College of Music in Boston and California State University at Northridge continued to expand his musical talents. Residing in Seattle, Washington since 1981, Mike has built a solid career as a performer, composer and recording artist. In 1987, he formed Mike Strickland Productions, Inc. and recorded “Floating”, his first album of original music. This upbeat, creative album attracted the attention of CBS Sports PGA Golf producer, Frank Chirkinian, and Mike continued to write music for CBS Sports PGA Golf telecasts for the next 7 years. In the last 20 years, Mike has performed extensively all over the United States as a solo artist and with various groups. To date, he has recorded 17 albums, including the most recent 2004 recording, “Touch the Sky”. He has sold over 250,000 CDs in the USA alone. His recordings have aired nationally on radio and television programs and his music is broadcast through Muzak and DMX Music via satellite to 40,000 businesses internationally.
