BUZOR NENIC
Buzor Nenic, 35 years old, grew up in Elsinore, Denmark, and started to play accordion at
the age of 4. His teacher was his father, Nikolaje Nika.
The Nenic family has a tradition for more than 300 years of playing folk music and gipsy
music.
At the age of 10 Buzor Nenic won DAU's (Danish Accordion Union) music competition and
also was awarded with an extra Talent Prize for his masterly ability, technique and personal
style.
Buzor Nenic has played with many professional musicians such as Moussa Diallo, bass singer
and composer from Mali, Ayi Solomon, percussion player from Mali, Gerge Michalahe,
timbalom player from Romania, Anders Hantze, drummer from Denmark, Branimir Djokic,
accordion player from Serbia, Nam Nguyen Tuan piano player from Vietnam and many other
musicians.
Buzor Nenic has recently (2009) finished The Master Education for Teacing and
Performing at The Academy of Music in Malmö, Sweden. During his studies
he started playing with Anders Frostin, classic educated violin player. Robert Pettersson,
classic educated and one of the best Scandinavian tango double bass players. Anders
Hentze, drummer and percussion player. Kjell Edstrand, professional piano player, piano
teacher and composer and great inspiration for many other musicians in Sweden.
Buzor Nenic forms different duos, trios, quartets, quintets and other constellations
according to the requests from clients arranging parties, weddings etc. and he has
performed numerous concerts in Scandinavia and Europe.
Buzor Nenic is always seeking to find new creative opportunities where his music can melt in
and where he can play and tell about the background of the music and involve the audience
to participate with singing and dancing.
2008
In October Buzor Nenic became no. 2 at the 32nd International Accordion Competition in
Castelfidardo, Ancona, Italy.
He was awarded the 2nd Prize at The World Champion Competition in Klingenthal, Germany
and a special Talent Prize because he was the most entertaining/performer and virtuoso

He received the 1st Prize at The Danish Championship Contest in Accordion, arranged by
The Danish Accordion Organisation (DHL, The Danish Accordion Union). Please see www.dhlonline.dk
In February Buzor Nenic received The Elsinore Cultural Prize for his unique skills to create
different musical groups and multiple instrumental combinations in the groups as well as
different music styles with his virtuoso way of playing the accordion.
Buzor Nenic is also teaching in Balkan folk dancing for all ages with his wife, Silvana Nenic.

2007
Received the 1st Prize at the Danish Accordion Competition and became no. 4 at the 22nd
International Accordion Competition in Castelfidardo, Ancona, Italy.
2004
Was awarded the 1st Prize at the Accordion Competition "Prvi Glasovi i Harmonikasi Srbije" in
Serbia.
Buzor Nenic also arranged The Multi Ethnical Musical Evening at The Cultural House,
Toldkammeret in Elsinore, Denmark, where he has been singing and playing world music
with Gipsy musicians from Sweden, Denmark and Austria.
2003
Won the 1st Prize at the Accordion Competition "Prvi Glasovi i Harmonikasi Srbije" in Serbia.
