ALIADO 60 WG
FITOSANITARY ACTION: Herbicide.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Metsulfuron-methyl
FORMULATION AND CONCENTRATION: Water dispersible granule at 60%
MODE OF ACTION: ALIADO 60 WG is a selective herbicide which is absorbed by the roots and foliage
with quick acropetal and basipetal translocation. ALIADO 60 WG prevents cell division by inhibiting
amino acid synthesis. It can be used in early postemergence to weeds and the crop for better weed
control.
PHYTOTOXICITY: ALIADO 60 WG is not phytotoxic at recommended doses and uses stated in this
publication.
COMPATIBILITY: ALIADO 60 WG is compatible with other commonly used herbicides.

HOW TO USE OR APPLICATION
APPLICATION EQUIPMENT: Make sure the application equipment is in good conditions to be used
and calibrated. ALIADO 60 WG can be applied by land with a manual knapsack sprayer at a volume
of up to 300 L/ha as well as land mechanical application with a volume of up to 400 L of water per
hectare. Flat fan nozzles should be used. This product does not have any detrimental effect on the
application equipment.
HOW TO PREPARE THE MIXTURE: In order to prepare application mixture, fill the tank up to the
middle with water, add the ALIADO 60 WG dose and turn on the agitator or recirculation system,
then fill up with the required volume always keeping a constant agitation or recirculation of the
mixture.

PRECAUTIONS:
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT: Store and transport ALIADO 60 WG in fresh, dry and ventilated places,
away from food, forage and medicines. Keep it in its original container, hermetically closed and
labeled. Is not inflammable, nor explosive, it resist oxidation and light, it is not corrosive
PERIOD OF APPLICATION: Whenever the weed population requires it. At the beginning of the rainy
season and when weeds are growing and there is a good metabolic activity so the product is more
effective.
APPLICATION INTERVAL: Whenever the pressure of broadleaf weeds requires it.
PERIOD BETWEEN THE LAST APPLICATION AND THE HARVEST: Last application has to be done at
least thirty days before harvest.
PERIOD FOR REENTRY TO THE TREATED AREA: 24 hours must be waited before entering into the
treated area, otherwise wear full personal protection equipment.
INTOXICATION SYMPTOMS: Symptoms of poisoning that occur are: skin, eye and mucous
membrane irritation.
FIRST AID
By ingestion: Provoke vomiting giving to drink ipecac syrup at a dose of 30 ml for adults and 15 ml
for children, followed by two glasses of water. Provide water to drink in order to dilute the product.
By inhalation: Remove the patient to a ventilated and dry place. Loosen clothing and check
respiration.
By skin contact: Remove all clothing and wash the affected part with plenty of water and soap.
By eye contact: Wash immediately the affect area with plenty of clean water during 15 minutes.
ANTIDOTE AND MEDICAL TREATMENT: It has not an antidote. Follow a symptom and support
treatment.
MEASURES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION: toxic to fishes and crustaceans, do not pollute
lakes and ponds with this product, its containers or empty packages.
HANDLING CONTAINERS, PACKAGES, WASTES AND REMAINDERS: Use the full content of the
container. When it is empty, wash and rinse three times with clean water and add the resulting
rinsing water to the mixture already prepared. Disable empty containers, perforate them. If the
country has an official container recollection and disposal program, deliver them to the nearest
recollection center or dispose of them in agreement with the instructions of the product distributor.
In case of a spillage apply saw dust or another absorbing material and recollect this material in a
hermetic container and hand it to the distributor.
