KERADROP® is a medical device composed of Glycyrrhizin with phlogolytique activity
(capable of inhibiting the evolutionary process of phlogosis). KERADROP® also contains a
specific heat-sensitive copolymer which, by coming into contact with the surface of the eye
and forming a gel, is capable of providing a long-term moisturization and lubricity.
KERADROP® contains a new preservative system, which maintains the sterile solution and
which is transformed into oxygen, water and sodium chloride as soon as it comes into
contact with the surface of the eye. These substances present naturally in tears, do not
irritate the eye mucosa. KERADROP® is unpreserved in the eye.
Composition
Dipotassium glycyrrhizinate, sodium hyaluronate, PEG / PPG copolymer, disodium EDTA
salt, stabilized oxychloro Complex (SOC) solution buffered at pH 7.2.
Properties
KERADROP® is indicated for the symptomatic treatment (itching, foreign body sensation,
redness) in the inflammatory ocular surface such as ocular discomfort syndrome,
conjunctivitis and blepharitis, both in adults and in children.
Manual
Instill one or two drops in the affected eye, two or more times a day or according to medical
advice.
Precautions
- The product is sterile prior to opening;
- Close the bottle after use;
- Use within 60 days after opening;
- Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the bottle;
- Protect from heat and keep out of reach of children;
- Do not swallow;
- Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component;
- In case of side effects, stop treatment immediately and consult your doctor;
- Avoid contact of the tip of the bottle with eyes, surrounding structures, hands or any other
surface;
- A slight burning sensation can be felt immediately after instillation;
- Do not discard in the environment after use.
