Dr Keenan qualified from the University of
Dundee in 2002. He completed General
Professional Training as a Senior House Officer
in Edinburgh Dental Institute for two years
gaining experience in Oral Surgery, Crown and
Bridge, Children’s and Prosthetic Dentistry.
He then returned to his native Dublin in 2005
and has spent the last seven years working in
Private Practice in South Dublin. During this
time, David also worked as a Clinical Supervisor
in Dublin Dental School and worked as Senior
Clinician in a large Cosmetic surgery in the
Dublin Docklands.
Dr Keenan has invested significant time in
postgraduate education. In 2007, he became a
Member of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Royal
College of Surgeons in Edinburgh where he
gained his MFDS RCSEd. In 2007/8, Dr Keenan
completed a one year postgraduate certificate
in London in Cosmetic and Aesthetic
Restorative Dentistry and has also completed
training in Inman Aligner (3 month braces) and
Six Month Smiles.
