Who is this Class for: This class is designed to disciple and teach ALL members of Beth Yeshua - as well as all those seeking future membership. Have you ever thought: Why didn’t anyone ever tell me that Jesus is Jewish?! Why do I have such a deep love for Israel? I love the Feasts and Festivals. Why did God awaken these feelings in me? Am I Jewish? Should I have my DNA tested? What is my place and role in Messianic Judaism? Do I belong here? Have you ever thought: When I Google “Messianic Judaism” there is a TON of information out there - which Messianic Judaism is “correct”? When and how did the modern movement of Messianic Judaism begin? What is the theology of Messianic Judaism currently - is there theological agreement with Christianity - is there theological agreement with Traditional Judaism? What is the future goal of Messianic Judaism? Where does Beth Yeshua fall on the Messianic Jewish spectrum in relation to theology and halacha? Length: 4 Shabbat Classes. They DO NOT have to be taken in order. Length: 4 Shabbat Classes. These classes DO have to be taken in order. Scheduling: This foundational class is offered nearly continuously during the year. What covenants does God have with Israel? What covenants does God have with The Nations? What does “Provoking Jews to Envy” look like? The crucial role of The Righteous of The Nations in returning the Jewish people to The Land - Rebuilding The Land - and Spiritual Renewal in The Land. Why do Jews need a “Jewish Space” to practice their love of Messiah? Halachic standards - who should wear a kippah, tallit, read from Torah, etc.? Is celebrating the Feasts of God something that The Nations should do? ... and much more! Scheduling: This class is offered nearly continuously during the year as long as there are 10 committed people signed up to take the entire course. Rudolph Growing Your Olive Tree Marriage FOUNDATION CLASS - REQUIRED FOR MEMBERSHIP Heart of the lass: To provide Intermarried/Interfaith families with a biblical overview of intermarriage. Who is this Class for: This class is designed to encourage and strengthen the Jewish and Intermarried Member Families of Beth Yeshua - as well as all Jewish and Intermarried Visitors who want to discuss Intermarried issues in a safe place. Have you ever thought: I’m Jewish and my spouse is Christian - how will we raise our children? Should we have a Brit Milah for our son? Should we baptize our children? Should our daughter have a Bat Mitzvah Ceremony? Should we celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah or both? Is it really important for my children to be raised as Jews? Are there any other families out there who understand me and my family? Length: 4-8(ish) Shabbat Classes. Due to the nature of this class Intermarried families are invited to come often throughout the year to share their journey and to listen to the experiences of others. These classes DO NOT have to be taken in order. Scheduling: This foundational class is offered nearly continuously during the year. Signing up in advance is NOT required. Topics Include: Intermarriage in Synagogues; Intermarriage in Churches; Case studies of from Intermarried families; Intermarriage in Religious Law; Intermarriage in Biblical History ... and much more! This class uses the book “Answering Jewish Objections Volume 1” by Dr. Michael Brown Bagels and Besorah FOUNDATION CLASS - REQUIRED FOR MEMBERSHIP Heart of the Class: For Jewish and non-Jewish believers in the Messiah to understand the historical and theological objections that many of our Jewish people have to acknowledging Yeshua as Messiah. After attending this class you will be ready to “give a reason for the hope that is inside of you” - to the Jew first and also to the Gentile. Who is this Class for: This class is designed to disciple and teach ALL members of Beth Yeshua - as well as all those seeking future membership. Have you ever thought: I have a Jewish friend, but I don’t know how to talk to him about Yeshua. Why did a loving God allow the Holocaust to happen? Does my Jewish friend read the same Bible I do? Is there actual prophetic proof that Jesus is the Messiah? Length: 4-6 Shabbat Classes. These classes DO NOT have to be taken in order. Scheduling: This class is “coming soon!” Signing up in advance is NOT required. Objections that will be studied include: Jews don’t believe in Jesus. I was born a Jew and I will die a Jew! A person is either Jewish or Christian - I’m Jewish. Messianic Judaism is just one big deception designed to lure unsuspecting Jews into Christianity. If Jesus is really the Jewish Messiah, why are there so many objections to him? Why did God allow six million Jews to die in the Holocaust? Which “church” is the right one - Protestants, Roman Catholics, Greek Orthodox, Messianic Jews - even Christians can’t agree! HAVE QUESTIONS? www.bethyeshua.org --- [email protected]
