Background The Search Monitor provides market research reports for SEM, SEO, and affiliate marketers. We gather data by monitoring search engines, shopping engines, and social media worldwide. Marketers use the statistics that we generate for brand compliance, affiliate compliance, and for competitive intelligence on paid search, organic search, social media, and shopping engines. We are a young and agile company built by a team of internet entrepreneurs with deep experience in search and affiliate marketing. Our clients consist of internet advertising agencies, affiliate managers, affiliate networks, OPMs, in-house marketing teams, and trademark compliance teams. We are a SAAS provider. Responsibilities The Product Manager for Ad Intelligence is responsible for product development associated with ad intelligence products for search, email, and display marketing. This will entail: Developing business requirements for usability, data display, reports, features, and user interface design Market research including feedback from current clients, internal teams, and competitive landscape. Liaison between technology, marketing, sales, and account support. Partner development for 3rd party data sources as needed. Facilitating adherence by the technical team to business requirements and deadlines. May involve QA and usability testing of features pre and post release. Qualifications 3+ years in product management / product marketing Must have managed the user experience for at least 1 SAAS product where you were the product leader on the business side. BA/BS Required: Marketing/ Business Administration preferred Experience in search engine marketing, and/or display advertising Experience working in B2B, with an emphasis on SAAS, Online Marketing, and/or Interactive Agency Knowledgeable in some or all of the following areas: o Software as a Service o Competitive analysis o Online marketing Active user of social media e.g. twitter or blogging
