Mass Market. In this job you will have the opportunity to work with our sales team and with major retailers in the United States building the
Pentel business. Our mass market accounts include such companies as Wal-Mart, K-mart, Target Stores, Dollar Tree, Rite Aid, Best Buy and
many more.
The position is out of our distribution center at: 4000 E. Airport Drive Suite C, Ontario, California 91761.
Duties will include:
 Strategize and support sales on major account and channel marketing initiatives as well as strategic development of proposed new
items with assigned members of the Sales Team as well as the analysis of the cost & profitability of these items

Develop and manage execution of proposed new item mixes and new custom displays including graphics, spec information, product
mix, item#, and UPC code.


Manage and generate proposed new item samples and mock ups working with outside vendors, Operations and Pentel Buyer
Coordinate, execute and manage marketing details of account accepted new item and display programs with a wide range of crossfunctional departments internally and external vendors & partners

Partner with sales team to attend and participate in new product POG and BTS account meetings and other account meetings as
requested

Analysis of syndicated data and POS data on a regular basis

Participation in strategic development of new promotions & new product s

Some travel up to 25% may be required
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education, Skills and/or Experience:
 Bachelor’s degree (business, marketing or finance preferred)
 Minimum of 2 yrs. exp. working in consumer packaged goods marketing preferably in a trade marketing position
 Excellent Microsoft Office skills required. Experience with Oracle ERP a plus.
 Strong communication skills, both written and oral, as well as excellent presentation skills required
