Biographies
Richard Horowitz, MD, is a pioneer, a leading authority on Lyme disease, and the author
of Why Can’t I Get Better? Solving the Mystery of Lyme and Chronic Disease (to be
released by St. Martin’s Press in late summer/early fall 2013). Dr. Horowitz is one of
the founding members and former president-elect of the International Lyme and
Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) and founder of the Hudson Valley Healing Arts
Center in Hyde Park, NY, where he has treated over 12,000 patients for Lyme disease
and associated co-infections over the past 26 years. Dr. Horowitz trains physicians
worldwide and is a respected member of the XYMOGEN Medical Board of Advisors.
Allan Warshowsky, MD, FACOG, ABIHM, is a board-certified OB/GYN and a 1973
graduate of SUNY Medical School. Dr Warshowsky trains physicians nationwide,
including during his successful 2011 XYMOGEN series Vanguard Endocrinology. In his
private practice in Rye, NY, Dr. Warshowsky integrates nutritional therapy, bioidentical
hormone therapy, lifestyle changes, visualization, and imagery with a focus on women,
men, and teens. He is the author of Healing Fibroids: A Doctor’s Guide to a Natural Cure
and a contributor to Integrative Medicine, 2nd edition, edited by David Rakel. From 2000
to 2003, Dr. Warshowsky was the founding physician of the Women’s Program at the
Beth Israel Continuum Center for Health and Healing. He is a founding diplomat and director emeritus
of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine (ABIHM) and a member of the American Holistic
Medical Association (AHMA) and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). Dr.
Warshowsky is also a respected member of the XYMOGEN Medical Board of Advisors.
