R1 is for LED current. Please refer to the specification of LM3914 for more information. http://www.eimodule.com EIM392 Layout 1. Top Layer 2. Bottom Layer http://www.eimodule.com Assembly Guide 1. Solder the 10 steps LED segment first Pay more attention to this direction of LED segment http://www.eimodule.com 2. Solder the LM3914 http://www.eimodule.com 3. Solder the potentiometer, 4 resistors and Jumper 4. Solder the cables. The red cable is soldered on the pad marked with “+” and the black cable is soldered on the pad marked with “‐” http://www.eimodule.com Calibration You have to calibrate this battery capacity before this module is used for measurement 1. Use a power supply to supply this indicator with the fully charged battery voltage. You have to use a higher voltage source for the battery you want to measure, for example: 1) To measure 3.7V Lithium battery, please use a 4.2V source to calibrate this indicator 2) To measure 7.4V Lithium battery, please use a 8.4V source to calibrate this indicator 2. Adjust the 50K potentiometer to make all LED segments on. http://www.eimodule.com
