Amazing Amazon “The Lungs of the Planet” Did you know that the Amazon rainforest produces more than 20% of the world’s oxygen? There are approximately 10 million species of animals, plants, and insects known to man and more than half of them call the rainforest home. Let’s explore the Amazing Amazon at the Quakesen District Cub-o-Ree! April 23-24 OR May 7-8, 2016 This is a rain or shine event. Come for the day or camp overnight. Saturday lunch and dinner are provided. BBs and Archery are part of the many exci'ng things planned. Sponsored by the Quakesen District but ALL Cub Scouts are welcome to a+end. The Cub-o-ree is a tent camping experience. All scouts camping overnight must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. No scout can share a tent with an adult who is not his parent/guardian. No siblings please. Upon check-in you will be directed to your campsite which may include different packs to fill the site. Scouts can be signed out for sports or other ac'vi'es, as needed. Register online as soon as you can! Cost: To camp overnight, the cost per Cub/Adult pair is $45 To camp overnight, the cost for a Trio (parent and 2 Cubs, or 2 parents and 1 Cub) is $65 To come for the day, the cost per Cub/Adult pair is $40 To come for the day, the cost for a Trio is $60. With 2-deep leadership, you can bring your den for the day at the cost of $20 per person. Lions can a+end this event! Please no younger siblings. Older brothers who are Boy Scouts can serve as Den Chiefs and assist in program areas. Saturday lunch and dinner will be provided. Plan Sunday breakfast with your pack or den.
