Dear Manager,
Your Baked Stuffed Clams, Clams Casino, Top Neck Clams, Clams Oreganata, Clam Chowder, and Fried
Clam Strips are nutritionally important foods on your menu. Mollusks contain the most abundant source
of Vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is made by symbiotic bacteria in a 30-step enzyme mediated process that requires cobalt. Milk from ruminant animals (cows, goats and sheep) also contains Vitamin B12, but cobalt
is sometimes a limiting factor.
I’m writing to suggest a plan to invite the public to taste these foods and include an educational presentation
about nutrition.
Rustic Inn Crab House “Special Foods” Presentation
The main goal of this presentation is to generate “buzz” about the Rustic Inn Crab House and develop
extra traffic.
Description:
This 2 hour class could begin with a presentation that describes the ingredients in Rustic Inn Crab House
“special foods,” the significant nutrition that they contain followed by samples for customers to taste.
If you would like to discuss this idea, let’s schedule a phone call at your convenience..
Sincerely,
Mary Jo Fahey
