Bacteria colonize all
submerged surfaces of the
casings, screen, pump,
column pipes, lines and
gravel pack. Fines become
embedded in this
polymer-based colonization,
further restricting the flow of
water into the well. Effects
include loss of volume,
corrosion, increased energy
cost, and in some cases...
loss of the well.
Common well treating
techniques including hydro
jetting, sonar jetting,
hydrochloric acid treatments,
etc. deal almost solely with
the casing and screens,
leaving the majority of the
contamination to flourish.
These types of treatments
realize some temporary
relief; however fall short of
lasting effects.
Unlike conventional treatments,
the Redi Clean process treats
the entire well system, cleaning
the screens, pumps, stand pipe,
gravel pack, casing and
formation face. This treatment
simultaneously removes scale
and biological fouling from the
