Web Optimizer cache for quicker access.

Using WO the network handles more concurrent interactions with the same resources. WO
automatically detects the connection between the client and the server and optimizes it to
communicate in the most effective fashion. TCP Optimization improves page load time by
optimizing the TCP connection between a mobile device, the optimization server and the origin
server.
HTTP Request Pipelining greatly improves the load time for web pages, especially over highlatency connections.

devices. Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) Optimization minimizes markup and optimizes CSS files for
speed. CSS optimization removes redundant markup, white space and comments. This works inline with HTML as well as with external documents.
Shared Resources
WO increases connection speed and decreases resource consumption by using the same TCP
connection to send and receive multiple HTTP requests and responses.
WO shares the DNS intelligently across multiple services, avoids costly over-the-air DNS lookup.
Intelligent Internet Caching
WO mirrors a subset of off-portal content and optimizes these elements in the cache for greater
efficiency.
Simplified Management
WO has an easy-to-use GUI for system management and configuration. Using Hot Upgrades
carriers upgrade individual blade servers without shutting down the system. Controlled Software
Updates detects automatic software updates and reschedules them during a non-busy hour.
