FLOMETRIL® Injectable solution UTERINE STIMULANT. Uterine contraction stimulant. Prevents and controls uterine infections. It is recommended in cases of uterine atony, placental retention, pyometritis, acute and chronic endometritis. Technical Specification SPECIES Mares, cows, sheep, goats, sows and dogs. DOSAGE FORM Injectable solution. THERAPEUTIC ACTION Uterine stimulant. COMPOSITION Each 100 ml of solution contains: Ergonovine Maleate...................6 mg Ethinyl estradiol........................1 mg Mepyramine Maleate.............250 mg Medium q.s.p.........................10 mL INDICATIONS Uterine contraction stimulant. Prevents and controls uterine infections. It is recommended in cases of uterine atony, placental retention, pyometritis, acute and chronic endometritis. ROUTE OD ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE Intramuscular administration. Recommended dose: Cows: 10 ml single dose. If there is not delivery of the placenta, repeat after 24 hours. Sheep, goats and sows: 2 to 5 ml single dose. Dogs: 1 ml single dose. CONTRAINDICATIONS Do not use in pregnant females. WARNINGS Keep out of reach of children. Do not use in pregnant females. GUARD PERIOD Meat: 5 days. Milk: 5 days. OBSERVATIONS By order of SAG, this product should not be marketed or administered to animals in the XII region of the country. CONSERVATION Store in a cool and dry place, at room temperature below 30°C, protected from sunlight. Do not freeze. Do not refrigerate. CONDITION OF SALE To be supply only on veterinary prescription.
