Regional Occupational Care Center (ROCC) Lafayette, IN 10/1999-8/2007 (ROCC was a start-up full service occupational medicine clinic division of Lafayette Orthopedic Clinic developed to compete with longstanding occupational medical system.) Medical Director Founder and part owner of clinic that within 5 years was serving 19 out 20 of largest industries in region including Purdue University. Attained 70% market share through superior customer service, market branding, outcomes based delivery of care and introduction of innovative care solutions. (e.g. Integrative medicine). Provided direct occupational medicine services including injury/illness care, pre-employment/DOT/fitfor-duty physicals and MRO oversight for 7000 drug tests/year performed within clinic. Developed and provided oversight of physician extender model which allowed for expansion of onsite employer services which and treatment and management of 2000 new injuries per year with myself as sole physician. Served as Medical Director for Wabash National, Subaru of Indiana Automotive, and Fairfield Manufacturing with the responsibility for their onsite occupational health clinic with a focus on reducing OSHA recordable injury & illness along with improving rate of recovery. Unity Healthcare, LLC Lafayette, IN 3/2003-8/2007 (Unity Healthcare was formed as a combination of: ROCC, Lafayette Orthopedic Clinic various medical groups to create a multi-specialty clinic with ambulatory surgical center, advanced medical imaging center, and radiation oncology center in response to community demand for healthcare choice.) Medical Director Part of management team that led to the strategic growth and development with the medical group increasing from 40 to 70 physicians and doubling of revenue/ profitability ($80 million/$4 million). Developed and directed comprehensive occupational medicine service line (ROCC,orthopedic/spine sub-specialists, pain management, rehabilitation, surgi-center, imaging) to $10 million in revenue.
