TECHNICAL DATA SHEET NO: PL-38-A
Store away from direct sun, heat, flames, sparks and severe cold.
Packaging: (500 mℓ black only), 1 l and 5 l.
Storage and Packaging
All surfaces must be firm, dry and clean, free from oil, grease or any other contaminants.
MILD STEEL: Degrease with METALCARE AQUASOLV DEGREASER (GR 1) and rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
Allow to dry. Remove rust or peeling paint with the appropriate REMOVALL COATING/RUST REMOVER product or
by sanding or steel wire brushing back to a bright metal surface. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water and allow to
dry.
GALVANISED STEEL: Clean with METALCARE GALVANISED IRON CLEANER (GIC 1) to a water break-free surface.
Remove rust by sanding or steel wire brushing back to a bright metal surface. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water
and allow to dry.
ALUMINIUM: Degrease with METALCARE AQUASOLV DEGREASER (GR 1) followed by fresh water rinses until a
water break-free surface is obtained. Abrade with “Scotchbrite” scouring pads to remove oxide layer. Overcoat
within 4 hours.
