Surface Mounting Options
Both Zumtobel Staff track systems, 1-circuit and 3-circuit, are designed for use with the following four mounting options as illustrated below: Direct, Toggle, T-Bar and
Uneven wall or ceiling.
Direct Track Mount
Toggle Bolt Track Mount
Within a maximum of 4 ft. between
mounting points, 1-circuit track is
supplied with oval knockouts for #8
screw clearance holes. For 3-circuit,
the track is drilled (by others) with a
∅ 3/16" drill bit and mounted flush
against the mounting surface.
Toggle mount is recom­mend­ed
for applications where the ceiling
structural support is not readily
accessible. The ceiling surface is
drilled to accommodate the size toggle
used for the application.

T-Bar Track Mount
Uneven Wall or Ceiling Track Mount
T-Bar clips are available to attach the
track to the T-Bar channel, complete
with mounting hardware. It can be
done either directly as illustrated or
with the use of the mounting bracket.

All Zumtobel Staff track systems are supplied ready for installation. All feeds and connectors are prewired, eliminating
costly job site wiring, and have been designed to maintain polarization integrity. The tracks are easily field cuttable. The
pliers (#58349) are used to trim the copper back to a 3/8" safety distance, as required by the U.L. listing.
