The ERICHSEN Model 142-20 sheet and strip
metal testing machine is ideal for use on the
shop floor, in the laboratory and for research.
It is designed to effortlessly perform quick &
accurate deep-drawing tests for ferrous and
non-ferrous metals as well as to perform a
large number of additional technological
investigations. The testing machine is driven
electro-hydraulically and the test sequence
can be controlled automatically or manually,
as desired. Drawing force and blank holder
force as well as the drawing punch stroke are
displayed digitally.
The integration of the sheet metal testing machine
with a 3D camera system allows the drawing
processes to be observed without delay through the
opening of the test head - thus enabling to combine
and analyze the data from both systems. The 3Dcamera system data and the corresponding sheet
metal testing data-, i.e. drawing stroke, drawing force and sheet holder force -is
therefore available at any point during testing.
With its precise data acquisition capability, the Erichsen sheet and strip metal testing
machine was developed not only for testing as means of continuous production control
using standardized and other established methods, but also for research into all aspects
of testing of sheet metal for deep draw testing.

Aluminium mesh insert designed primarily for indoor low voltage
power systems, the Hawk-IR Port ‘M-Range’ utilises a mesh grid
comprising of a 5mm (<¼") hole pattern.
This unique design complies with both IEE and IEEE C37 requirements
relating to a 10mm (½") maximum opening in switchgear.

ILLUMINATE-IR™
Use the ILLUMINATE-IR™ to clearly see and record phase colours,
terminal ID numbers, cable markers and many more identifying points
using your built in, digital camera!
Check for tell-tale signs of problems such as discolouration along with phase colours,
cable idents, relay numbers etc. easily and quickly.
Your camera's onboard power system will automatically activate the ILLUMINATE-IR™
system after the IR image is saved. It then links the digital image taken to
your IR image.
