New rated current values for SMD fuse
Compact high performance fuse
A large number of products made of plastic materials
with high glow-wire ratings are available. These are
above all shock-safe fuseholders in the successful FPG
series, which are available in a wide range of shapes
and sizes as well as fuse blocks for assembly on circuit
boards. Power connectors rated for 10 A and 16 A with
a wide range of assembly types and various terminals,
meet stricter requirements.
The UMT-H has been extended with 7 additional rated
currents and is now offered with a total of 24 rated currents, which cover the rated currents between 160 mA
and 30 A. The compact SMD fuse stands out with its
high breaking capacity. With its square, compact design,
it is the space saving alternative to classic cylindrically
shaped cartridge fuses and also suited for more cost-­
effective, automated assembly.
The SHT 6.3x32 fuse provides higher voltage overcurrent and short circuit protection up to 1500 A @ 500
VAC and 400 VDC . The new rating provides primary
protection in DC power systems for intelligent buildings, telecom centers, server farms and related peripheral systems. Also available with pigtail pins for
direct mounting on printed circuit boards.

The successful T9 fuseholder circuit breaker series is
now expanded to include a version for vertical PCB
mounting. This is a response to the market needs for
space-saving installation versions. The PCB mounting
reduces assembly costs and saves board space, by eliminating assembly hardware and wires.
The IEC connector consisting of the appliance inlet type
4761 and the rewireable cord connector type 4762 are
new waterproofed available with the high protection
class IP 67 or IP 69K. This appliance coupler is perfect
for supplying power into devices used in harsh environments such as industrial, marine, laboratories or outdoor applications.
The new wire option allows the use for higher current
ratings. Ideal for utilization in power distribution units
or other equipment with several parallel-connected current outputs as UPS devices. The IDC terminals are
arranged either along or across the connector pin axis
for a horizontal or vertical mounting orientation.

The power entry module, series 5707, now offers IP 54
protection with V-Lock cord sets at the power input, in
addition to IP 65 protection to the equipment. The sealed module is ideal for use in medical equipment exposed to leaks, drips and spills as well as equipment
subject to routine washing.

The power entry module is now also available in white
color, suitable for many medical equipment. This integrated filter at the power input provides highly effective
interference suppression, which results in optimized
electromagnetic compatibility.
First of its kind integrated line filter for 1- and 3-phase
industrial and power distribution applications. The integrated filter optimizes suppression of conducted emissions by eliminating cables between inlet and filter.

Single-phase filter for a wide current range
The offered measurement service ensures individual requirements for EMC compliance. It is a comprehensive
and professional EMC testing service using one of our
several production sites or our mobile measurement
tools directly on site, which regular testing of new machinery and equipment during the development process
allows.
The new DKIH series is offering 8 times higher
inductance performance than ferrite core versions in
the same compact dimension. The new product is de­
signed for single and three phase applications with
rated currents from 10 to 50 amperes. Due to its open
design, the chokes are light weight and compact. They
are designed to suppress EMI noise caused by power
applications on the PCB.
This range of single-phase filters combines high performance in a compact design. The new series extends the
range of current ratings up to 60 A, with an extended
temperature range from -40 °C to 100 °C. Three different filter designs offer utmost flexibility for any
requirements.

The latching-action stainless steel and ceramic surface
pushbutton switches are now available with a maximum rated switching current of 16 A at 250 VAC,
uprated from 12 A. Designed for primary ON/OFF switching, the up-rating on the MSM LA and LA CS expands
on their suitability for use in appliances with higher
loads.
Based on the used color technology, it's now possible
to indicate up to seven illumination color options with
just one switch. The variable power supply offers a homogenous and brilliant illumination within a voltage
range of 5 to 28 VDC. The application of this range is
significantly expanded.

The SCHURTER CLEARCAP technology offers capacitive sensor keys for easy integration behind glass, polycarbonate or polyester. This single layer sensor film includes pre-defined touch fields over the display area.
Further integration of keys, sliders and wheels creates a
flexible functionality in an attractive modern design with
effective costing. The transparency allows to backlight
the area of the operating elements with LEDs in multiple
colors.
SCHURTER's Metal over Cap (MoC) is the ideal solution
for durable switches and keypads without mechanical
moving parts. This MoC technology is a good alternative for the piezo switch. MoC is designed to use in
harsh environments and can be equipped with front
plates of stainless steel or aluminium to provide a
robust switching panel.
SCHURTER's new generation of PCAP touchscreen
technology offers improved features like certified EMC
compatibility for industrial and medical applications,
water and salt water resistance, hand palm rejection
and the use of thicker thermal gloves. To achieve
customer-specific requirements, various controller
systems are developed for the combination with
different kind of PCAP sensors.
