Feed cable to required location. 2Installation - Screw metal bracket onto a solid section of the ceiling/wall, allowing wires through for connection. Connect to the mains voltage cable using appropriate sized crimps. Once the cables are connected tuck inside the base of the fitting. Position base plate onto bracket and locate using two grub screws provided. 3 Qualified electrician – All electrical works to be carried out by a qualified electrician. 4 Cable thickness – Is the responsibility of the installer. Cable thickness must be calculated to avoid voltage drop. Calculations and cable tables can be found within the latest edition of the IEE wiring regulations. 5Positioning – Positioning is subject to interior and installation requirements. Placement guides are available for a limited number of products. Guides can also be discussed with the design department. 6Lamps - With a John Cullen Design the lamp beam angles and lens specification are provided on the drawings and should be installed as shown. 7Temperature – Light fitting becomes hot to the touch in operation and should not come into contact with fabrics, furniture or soft furnishings. Fittings used at low level become hot to the touch and consideration must be given to a child touching them or objects left on them when off, and not removed before switching back on. PLEASE NOTE:-These notes are for guidance only. John Cullen accepts no responsibility for any installation using the above notes and the final decision on installation remains with the installer. Designed in-house and manufactured in the UK. Exclusive to John Cullen. SALES: 020 7371 9000 1604130911© DESIGN: 020 7371 5400 www.johncullenlighting.co.uk
