X Series Overview
Brushes:
American Armature™ alternators utilize
brushes that are designed with a carbon
copper content, which will increase the life
of the unit.
Dual Plane Balanced Rotor:
Increases bearing life and reduces noise
due to vibration.
Regulators:
Will interface directly with the
Penntex©, Powerline©, or
Lestek© harness.
Stators:
Stators are machine wound
for both
consistency in
manufacture
and performance.
Cooling:
American Armature™ alternators
incorporate dual internal fans for
superior cooling, pulling air from
both the front and back. Air will
pass through the stator not over it.
This innovative design enables the
alternator to run much cooler
allowing for better performance.
Installation
Easily replaces a previously mounted
Penntex©, Powerline©, or Lestek©
unit. Designed to install on OE mounts
and work with the Penntex©,
Powerline©, or Lestek© harness.
Diodes:
American Armature™ uses high-grade
heavy-duty diodes for both long life and
to reduce heat. Our diodes also help
filter any radio noise associated with
the alternator. High quality heat sinks
are incorporated with the diodes for
proper heat dissipation.
Front and rear bearings:
Our high-speed motor
grade bearings utilize
high temperature
lubricants to increase
life and reduce friction.
Manufacturing:
All alternators are manufactured with new parts.
Alternators are not remanufactured in any way.
