The ŁC-480D1 Digital Switchboard allows to:

switch 16 kbps channels and n x 16 kbps channel groups;
-
switch integral (non-frame) groups with n x 16 kbps digital rates;
-
ensure 16 kbps channels and n x 16 kbps channel groups in various digital and analog forms
when made up with the KX 30M mulitiplexer;

ensure Stanag 4210, G.703 electric groups at digital rates ranging from 128 to 2048 kbps;
-
ensure fiber optic groups at digital rates ranging from 16 to 32,768 kbps;

ensure signaling systems of digital trunks of the Storczyk System and ISDN network;
-
convert speech signals encoding CVSD<->PCM (for multi-system connections of the Storczyk
system subscribers with ISDN subscribers);

set up duplex conferences for subscribers using various speech encoding schemes;

convert data transmission protocols (for multi-system connections of the Storczyk system
subscribers with ISDN subscribers).
The ŁC-480D1 Digital Switchboard can be managed locally through a hand-held terminal or remotely
from the SZAŁ-99 management system. The SZAŁ-99 management system enables remote control
over all switchboards of the system and of the KX-30M multiplexers connected to them as well as
of subscribers’ devices. SZAŁ-99 is used for network planning and designing, configuring the work
parameters of individual devices and for monitoring the network status.
The ŁC-480D1 Digital Switchboard has its own highly stable frequency standard. The device can
cooperate synchronically with a clock received from any trunk or with an external frequency source.
The device has been qualified to the N7 group according to WPN 84, MIL-STD-810D.
