Died: Monday, November 24, 2014
Marmina, Pauline Dora (nee Trahan) 1920 -2014 – With
great sadness, we announce the passing of Pauline, on
Monday, November 24. She passed away peacefully at
Eastholme, Powassan, just a few months before her 95th
birthday.
Her beloved husband, Joseph, predeceased her in 2001, after
over sixty-five years of a long and happy life together.
Pauline leaves her loving and much loved children: Jo
(Philipp) of Seattle, Dr. Joseph (Paulie) of Toronto and
Pauline of North Bay, five grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.

Born in North Bay to Emmett Trahan and Delima (Soucie),
Pauline enjoyed a long, healthy and fulfilling life. Those who
knew her will remember her extraordinary culinary skills,
sense of humour, kind and loving nature and devotion to
family. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the
dedicated and compassionate staff of Eastholme who looked
after our mother in the last years of her life.
The family will receive friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL
SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, on Friday November 28 from 7
until 9 pm. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday
November 29th at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
If one wishes to honour her memory, in lieu of flowers, a
donation to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be greatly
appreciated by the family.
