Partner: Denon Model: HEOS Device Type: Media Resource GENERAL INFORMATION SIMPLWINDOWS NAME: Denon HEOS v1.0 CATEGORY: Media Resource VERSION: 1.0 SUMMARY: This provides control and feedback for the Denon HEOS system. This module will provide control of the Denon HEOS speakers. It also provides feedback. The module allows the user to browse the music resources, select music resources and control playback. The module only needs to connect to one Denon HEOS speaker. All Denon HEOS speakers on the network can be controlled through that speaker. GENERAL NOTES: To connect to the Denon HEOS speaker you will need to provide the IP address using the IP_Address_In_Text input, the IP port number using the Port_Number_In_Analog, the user name using the User_Name_In_Text input and the password using the Password_In_Text. Then hold the Connect_TCP/IP_Client input high. This will cause the module to connect to the Denon HEOS speaker. Login and get the list of players and groups. This module uses direct socket access through Simpl#. NOTE: THIS MODULE IS FOR 3-SERIES AND HIGHER PROCESSORS ONLY. CRESTRON HARDWARE REQUIRED: SETUP OF CRESTRON HARDWARE: C2I-*3ENET-* TCP/IP: Port: 1255 VENDOR FIRMWARE: 1.289.95(r64485) VENDOR SETUP: For each service that will be used you need to download the Denon HEOS application on to your mobile device. Using that application log into each music service. CABLE DIAGRAM: Ethernet CONTROL: Select_Player_<1…100> D Pulse to select the desired player or group to control. Select_Browser_Item_<1…500> D Pulse to select an item in the browser. Browser_Back D Pulse to return to the previous browser level. Browser_<Previous/Next>_Page D Pulse to move to the previous or next page of browser items. Repeat D Pulse to cycle through the repeat one, repeat all, repeat off. Volume_<Up/Down> D Press and hold to adjust the volume. Volume_Mute_<On/Off/Toggle> D Pulse to turn the volume mute on and off. IP_Address_In_Text S Serial signal for the IP address of the HEOS to connect to. Port_Number_In_Analog A Analog input for the IP port number. Default is 1255. User_Name_In_Text S Serial signal for the user name to use to log into the Denon HEOS speaker. Password_In_Text S Serial signal for the password to use to log into the Denon HEOS speaker. Connect_TCP/IP_Client D Hold high to connect to the Denon HEOS whose IP address is entered using the IP_Address_In_Text input above. This will also login to the speaker and get the list of players and groups. Get_Players_And_Groups D Pulse to get the list of players and groups. FEEDBACK: Number_Of_Players A Analog signal indicating the number of Denon HEOS players and groups in the list. To be routed to the Set Number of Items input on a Dynamic Button List Smart Object. Selected_Player/Group_Name_Text S Serial signal indicating the name of the selected player or group. Player_<1…100>_Name_Text S Serial signals listing the available players and groups on the network. Number_Of_Browse_Items A Analog signal indicating the number of browse items in the list. To be routed to the Set Number of Items input on a Dynamic Button List Smart Object. Browser_Title_Text S Serial signal indicating the title of the current browser level. Browse_Item_<1…500>_Text S Serial signals listing the available items. Browser_Back_Enabled D High to indicate that the browser back button is enabled. This could be used to drive the Enable Digital Join on a Smart Object button. Browser_<Previous/Next>_Page_Enabled D High to indicate that the browser previous or next page buttons are enabled. These could be used to drive the Enable Digital Join on Smart Object buttons. <Playing/Stopped/Paused> D High to indicate the currently selected player or group’s playback state. Partner: Denon Model: HEOS Device Type: Media Resource Now_Playing_Source_Name_Text S Serial signal indicating the name of the currently playing source. Now_Playing_Station_Name_Text S Serial signal indicating the name of the currently playing station. Now_Playing_Type_Text S Serial signal indicating the type of media that is currently playing. This could be “station” or “song”. Now_Playing_Song_Title_Text S Serial signal indicating the title of the currently playing song. Now_Playing_Album_Title_Text S Serial signal indicating the album title the currently playing song is from. Niw_Playing_Artist_Name_Text S Serial signal indicating the currently playing artist’s name. Now_Playing_Image_URL S Serial signal indicating the URL for the currently playing cover art. This could be used for the Indirect Graphics Path on a Smart Object Image Object. Volume_Level A Analog signal indicating the current volume level for the selected player or group. Volume_Mute_Is_<On/Off> D High to indicate the volume mute state for the selected player or group. TCP/IP_Client_Is_Connected D High to indicate that the TCP/IP client is connected. TCP/IP_Client_Status A Analog output indicating the TCP/IP client status. Get_Players_And_Groups_Is_Busy D High to indicate that the module is downloading the list of players and groups.
