EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS MS Computer Science- University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA. Bachelor of Computer Engineering -University of Pune, VIIT, India Expected: Dec 2015 May 2012 COURSEWORK Web Technologies Directed Research Database System Analysis of Algorithms Operating systems 3D Graphics and Rendering Specification and Design of User Interface Software Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Data mining Foundations of Artificial Intelligence TECHNICAL SKILLS and INDEPENDANT STUDIES Programming Languages: C, C++, Java, VB6.0, VC++. Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, PHP. DBMS Packages: SQL, Relational Databases, Spatial Databases. Operating Systems: Linux, Windows. Prototyping Tools: Axure, Balsamiq. RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE Internship - Indigen Technologies, Pune – (CNC 3D Simulation): April 2013 – June 2013. Implementing this project individually helped me to get hands on experience in OpenGL. Based on windows application for CNC 3D simulation in VC++ using OpenGL, it is used to test the different tools in lathe machine. Test result would display the final output (shape) of the particular tool. ACADEMIC PROJECTS 1. Web Technologies Project (CSCI 571): Designed a webpage and an Android Application that allows users to search items for sale on eBay.com using HTML, CSS, XML languages, Javascript, PHP, Bootstrap, jquery. Implemented the web interface by retrieving the XML data in JSON format from the PHP script residing on AWS. 2. Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Data mining (DSO 528): Developed target-marketing strategies by analyzing customer data to accurately determine potential buyers to increase profits. Used classification (Decision Trees, Logistic Regression and Neural Networks) and clustering techniques for predictive analytics using SAS JMP Pro. 3. 3D Graphics Project (CSCI 580): Ambient Light Occlusion and Shadows using WebGL. The primary focus of the project is to obtain SSAO using our algorithm developed in WebGL and comparing it to the more realistic output produced by 3D Max. 4. UIUX Project (CSCI 588): Designed a Website called ‘Deal Share’ to share the Online Deals among a group of users, adhering to the UI Principles and Guideline and considering the HCI Components. 5. Handwritten Digit Recognition (CSCI 561): Trained an artificial Neural Network using backpropogation algorithm for handwritten digit classification. 6. Connect4 game (CSCI 561): Determined the optimal move of an opponent using MiniMax algorithm with alphabeta pruning. 7. Logic and SAT Problem (CSCI 561): Implementation of PL-Resolution algorithm to determine seating arrangement task based on the relationship constraints. 8. Operation Theatre Automation (B.E. Project - May 2012): With an aim to formulate voice operated machinery in an operation theatre, I worked on OT table and interfaced, designed the front end using VB 6.0. With the help of RS232 programming, the speech input signals were carried to PCB interface which lead to movement of machine. 9. Industry Academia CoE Programs – sponsored by ZENSAR (T.E.) - Automated Travel Agent System: Based on the database system, the clients could reserve flights and purchase tickets for individuals through agents.
