What is in our Tru-Pine® formula?
Canadian Pine Bark Extract Formula
TRU-PINE® is a proprietary formula containing
white pine bark (Pinus strobus), rose hips fruit
(Rosa canina) and vitamin C. When combined,
the ingredients are synergistically enhanced.
White Pine Bark Extract (Pinus strobus)
Research has shown that pine bark contains high
concentrations of proanthocyanidins, which are
commonly known as OPC’s. OPC’s are a class of
bioflavonoids which contain antioxidant properties.
Rose Hips (Rosa canina)
Rose hips have been used as a source of food
for centuries by the Native people of Canada.
Rose hips contains vitamin C, vitamin E and
vitamin K.
Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid)
Vitamin C is vital for the formation and maintenance
of healthy connective tissue, amino acid metabolism
and protection from chemicals. During stress, an
additional source of vitamin C helps pets to
maintain healthy levels of vitamin C.

TRU-PINE® for Pets is a proprietary Canadian Pine Bark
Extract formula made from the original
preparation given to Jacques Cartier and
his men by the Native people of Canada
in 1535-1536. TRU-PINE® for Pets is the
only known pine bark product to source
its materials from the same pine trees used
in the original formula. The original pine tree grows
in Canada’s boreal forest in remote areas free of
pesticides and insecticides.
The technology used to produce TRU-PINE® for Pets
was researched for more than a decade by Canadian
scientists, resulting in a uniquely balanced pine bark
formula and a state-of-the-art extraction process.
The proprietary upright water extraction process
preserves the integrity of the source material,
producing a pure and clean extract without the use
of solvents. TRU-PINE® for Pets is produced in a
cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliant facility
and is uniquely prepared to ensure consistent quality.

Why antioxidants
are important for your pet…
TRU-PINE® for Pets is made from Northern Canadian Pine
and is manufactured only in Canada. Our new TRU-PINE®
for Pets capsule formula was made with your pet’s wellbeing in mind, easy and convenient to take.
Antioxidants play an important role in helping to
maintain healthy cells in your pet’s body. They help
neutralize free-radicals, which are chemicals that
damage healthy cells in the body.
The TRU-PINE® for Pets capsule formula can be given
with a small amount of food, or simply use a convenient
‘pill pocket’ that you can find in your local pet store.
The pine bark selected to produce TRU-PINE® for Pets
is harvested from Canada’s virgin forests during timber
production. The pine trees are aged between 10-20 years
which ensures the highest possible concentrations of
antioxidants. The water extraction process retains
95% OPC’s (Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins) which
makes this a good source of antioxidants for your pet.

amounts for your pet’s weight.
