The 1st round program
In the first round all contestants will participate viatheiraudo/video-recording of two contrasting music
pieces one of which should be an aria from any opera and another art song. The two pieces should not
be longer than 10 minutes altogether.

The 2nd round program
In the 2nd round contestants should perform two contrasting opera arias. One aria should be from
Handel, Mozart, Donizetti, Bellini or Rossini operas. Other aria could be selected from any opera. The
two music pieces should not be longer than 12 minutes altogether.

The Final Round program
In the final round contestants should performthree music pieces - one aria from oratorio/ cantata, one
aria from opera/operetta and one art song (the order may be changed).
One of them should be composed by Latvian composer or composer of the country which contestant
presents.
One needs to be composed in the 20th century.
The three music pieces should not be longer than 15 minutes altogether.
