The Story....................................................
Julian was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His love for writing and
theatrical performance stems back to his elementary school years. It was
then that he was cast in the school’s production of Charles Dickens’ “A
Christmas Carol”. Julian, the only third grader amongst middle school
students, secured the role of The Ghost of Christmas Present. The creative
passion for the arts that gripped him at this early age also birthed a love for
writing. Shortly after concluding the school play, Julian began work on his
first original literary work, which was a mini-novel about a young boy who
was an outcast amongst his school peers.
There was no doubt about the career path that Julian would pursue. As such,
he gained admittance to the renowned Theatre Program at Northwestern
University. Upon graduation, Julian would head to New York City where he
currently resides and has garnered success as an actor, poet and author.
Throughout his tenure as a professional, Julian’s work ethic has been
commended by directors, fellow actors and production crew members alike.
As for Julian’s thoughts on this, he states the following: “When it comes to
my two crafts of acting and writing, I really dive in and work my rear off to
get a piece to where I want it. I’m a bit of a perfectionist. So in some ways it
is a difficulty of mine because I’m never really satisfied with a performance
or a piece I’m working on. It’s good to always keep reaching.”
