(Part 1)
1 Corinthians 10:16
By David Dann
COMMUNION
COMMUNION
• Human beings need communion with
God.
COMMUNION
Psalm 42:1-2
1 As the deer pants for the water brooks, So
pants my soul for You, O God.
2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God?
COMMUNION
Isaiah 59:1-2
1 Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened,
That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it
cannot hear.
2 But your iniquities have separated you from
your God; And your sins have hidden His face
from you, So that He will not hear.
COMMUNION
Colossians 1:19-22
19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the
fullness should dwell,
20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by
Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven,
having made peace through the blood of His cross.
21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies
in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has
reconciled
22 in the body of His flesh through death, to
present you holy, and blameless, and above
reproach in His sight…
COMMUNION
Galatians 3:26-27
26 For you are all sons of God through faith
in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as were baptized into
Christ have put on Christ.

23 For I received from the Lord that which I also
delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the
same night in which He was betrayed took
bread;
24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it
and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is
broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me."

25 In the same manner He also took the cup
after supper, saying, "This cup is the new
covenant in My blood. This do, as often as
you drink it, in remembrance of Me."
26 For as often as you eat this bread and
drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death
till He comes.

1 Corinthians 11:27-29
27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this
cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty
of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat
of the bread and drink of the cup.
29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy
manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not
discerning the Lord's body.

you have learned and been assured of,
knowing from whom you have learned them,

the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make
you wise for salvation through faith which is
in Christ Jesus.
