AMAZING FACTS ABOUT YOUR SKIN
1.
2.
3.
4.
Every month you have a whole new layer of skin.
You have seven layers of flat-stacked skin cells.
We lose 30,000-40,000 dead skin cells every minute.
The average person is likely to shed as much as eight pounds of dead
skin every year.
5. What you see on the body is actually dead skin waiting to shed.
6. The nervous system gives the skin the sensation of feeling.
7. The digestive system helps keep the skin healthy by providing
nutrients.
INTEGUMENTARY SYSTEM
The Integumentary system is a secondary system to the Lymphatic
system and immunity because the skin is the first defensive response
to protect against sickness and disease.
The Integumentary system is also a secondary system to the
Cardiovascular system because it protects the heart and keeps all
of the blood that the heart is pumping inside the body.
The Cardiovascular system is a secondary system to the
Integumentary system because it pumps nutrient-filled blood to the
skin.
FIVE CRAZY COOL FACTS ABOUT YOUR MUSCLES

The muscular system makes up about 40% of your weight!
The smallest muscle in your body is in your ear.
One step exercises about 200 different muscles!
Your tongue is the strongest muscle in your body in proportion to its size.
Your jaw muscle is the strongest muscle in your body.
The jaw and the tongue are both a part of the digestive system.
The skeletal system helps you support structure.
The nervous system helps your muscles move.
The urinary system is helped by the muscular system because it helps urine to pass
through the body.
MUSCULAR SYSTEM
The Integumentary system is a secondary system to the muscular system
because the skin protects the muscles and keeps them secure in the body.
The Cardiovascular system is a secondary system to the muscular system
because it pumps nutrient-filled blood to the muscles so they can be
functional.
The Muscular system is a secondary system to the Cardiovascular system
because the heart is a muscle. Without the muscular system, we would all
be dead.
This system is a secondary to the Digestive system because the muscles
in the oral cavity help with chewing and swallowing foods.
MUSCULAR SYSTEM CONTINUED
The Muscular system is a secondary system to the human eye because it allows
the eye to move around and it allows the pupil to expand and contract.
The Muscular system is a secondary system to the respiratory system because
the muscles in your bronchi help you breath.
