Odyssey Travel Brochure and God/Goddess Project
Odysseus visited many places on his trip back home from Troy. You are to create a cruise brochure based on
these travels. This brochure should be colorful, creative, and written to entice travelers to spend their money on
this cruise. Use persuasive language and many strong adjectives and verbs that will encourage would-be
travelers to join you on your cruise.

What to Include:
 Description of the cruise, including:
 name of the fictional cruise line
o using the name of your god/goddess
 picture of the cruise ship
o should be in keeping with ships of ancient Greece
 length of the trip
o cost
o what is included
 contact information for the cruise line
 Sites visited, including at least five of the following:








Island of the Lotus Eaters
Land of the Cyclopes
Aeaea (home of Circe)
Aeolia (home of Aeolus)
