October 14th-18th Mesopotamian Empires: Mechanical Dioramas -Group Preparation (Monday) -Group Presentations (Tuesday & Wednesday) -Students will be given their study guide for the test on Tuesday at the end of class. For homework, students will need to complete the study guide using their notes and activities in their social studies binder. The unit test will be on Thursday. Essential Question: -What are the major achievements of the four empires in Ancient Mesopotamia? Objectives: Describe the major achievements of the Akkadian, Babylonian, Assyrian, and Neo-Babylonian Empires. Identify the significance of Hammurabi’s code.
