Duties






To assist with firming up coverage and views on Asia ex-Japan countries and
sectors
—
To assist with ETF product, on weekly updates, and monthly updates (Peter
to brief the person before he leaves)
To assist with Asean strategy product on a monthly basis
To assist with presentation materials
To build new models on sector aggregates and sensitivity analysis
To work with regional sector analysts to build macro database for their
sectors
To assist with daily write-ups ( if feasible)
Skill set —





Preferably economics background to be able to synthesise data and news flows
on macro developments such as GDP growth, interest rates, and currencies
Must have skills on excel spreadsheets to be able to work with vast amount
of numbers, where working smart with excel functions, calculations and
linkages to external database such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and Datastream are
needed
Be interested and appreciate regional markets and sectors; to be able and
have the interest to read widely
Good interpersonal skills and integrate into the regional team as the job
involves working with analyst and economists in the whole research team
Good writing skills (excel skills more important)
