Economy
The most efficient and moral government would let people do as they please, especially
when it comes to personal and economic (financial) decisions. Our goal is to allow people to
make their own decisions. In regards to the economic recovery, it is our goal to withhold
government from playing a huge part. Governments can create governmental jobs, but it isn’t
the best for job creation. People and businesses create their own jobs, so it is our goal to let
them do just that. With our economic goals, along with our other policies’ goals, this great
nation’s economy can and will recover fully. We just need to change to make it happen across
the board.
Ensure that every American receives an education. We need a bigger emphasis on
education across the country. Future generations need to be aware of current issues,
and ways to resolve these issues. With every child attending school, our government
and country will not make the same mistakes twice.
Lower Regulations. Businesses should have less rules. Monopolies will still be illegal.
Natural monopolies (such as gas companies) will still be allowed to exist. Businesses
should have more freedom to do what they want. It will generate jobs and get money
circulating.
Lower taxation. This implies for the general population. People will receive tax breaks.
Get government out of healthcare business. It will be a free market approach where the
individual and/or family can decide on insurance.
Do not restrict people from drilling for oil in this country. Safe alternatives to preserve
the environment will be sought after. Our energy policy explains more on this issue.
Lower gas prices. $4+ per gallon of gas is insane. By importing less and drilling at home
or creating alternatives will drive gas prices down. This will also allow money to circulate
and be saved.
Keep food prices low. We will take time to come up with limits on prices. Everyone
needs to eat and they should be able to afford it.
Keep companies and businesses here at home. There will be less outsourcing. Jobs will
stay here. Therefore, generating more money at home and creating job prospects.
If our policy is put into place, then we can all help the economy grow strong. Future
generations will need not to worry about job loss or increasing prices. Our policy will help to
shape the structure and set a foundation for the people to build off of. The people will be able
to create jobs under our policy and money will once again begin to flow throughout the
economy. Our policy will create a strong America and make the dollar bill worth something
once again.
Healthcare
Our healthcare goal is to eliminate Obamacare. It is up to each individual to determine whether
or not they want to purchase health insurance and which company they would like to purchase it from.
Medicare and Medicaid funding will not be cut. However, each state will have to enforce and become
strict with who is eligible for Medicaid. It is our goal to not allow an increase in spending on Healthcare
of more than $6,000 a person by the year 2017. We will provide incentives for states to provide free
clinics for those who choose to go without insurance when needed.
A free market approach will be taken on healthcare. Individuals and/or families will be able to
purchase health insurance from which company they wish. Under this approach, insurance will
be available for purchase across state borders. This will eliminate and replace Obamacare. It is
up to the individual and/or family whether or not they would like to purchase health insurance.
There will be no budget cuts to Medicare or Medicaid. The elderly and impoverished need
healthcare. (Medicare patients). Individuals and/or family using Medicaid will still be able to
receive benefits. However, the state in which they reside will enforce strict rules. An example of
such a rule is the individual and/or family has to be at or below poverty level on the
governmental level. Another such rule would be the individual(s) must be trying to seek
employment and not be receiving any money under the table. We want to ensure the right
people are receiving help. We want no one to take advantage of the Medicaid budget in any
part of the country. If states do not comply with evaluating the applicants, their Medicaid funds
will be cut and/or eliminated completely.
Healthcare spending is expected to increase $13,000 per person by 2017. This equates to 6.7%
rate of growth for healthcare which is 3 times the rate of inflation. We cannot have this as a
country. We would like to not allow spending to increase more than $6,000 per person by 2017.
This will happen by spending more wisely. An emphasis will be placed upon efficient, long
lasting technology. Companies will be rewarded and urged to create dependable, long lasting
products. With people choosing their health insurance, health care costs will also decrease.
We will grant incentives to states who provide free clinics for those who choose to go without
insurance. Things do happen, and it is important that everyday ailments are taken care of as well
to ensure there will be no further complications. Clinics should be up to date, clean, and
respectable. We hope that states either have it in their budget to set up these clinics. If not,
government funding will be provided. This is a wiser choice of spending of our health dollars.
Provide incentives to states who start up obesity prevention and safe weight loss programs.
Obesity is an increasing issue in America. It needs to end. And be solved, now.
If our policy is put in place, then the future of American Healthcare will look brighter and
healthier. Future generations need not to worry about affordable healthcare or increasing costs.
Medicaid and Medicare funding will still be in place and used more wisely. Individual states will receive
incentives as well, which in turn will ensure the future of healthcare. Our policy will also benefit and
revive the economy from the free market approach and starter funds from the government. America
will be healthy and happy again. All while meeting their health needs.
Energy Policy
Our energy policy goal is to decrease our dependency on imported oil and fossil fuels. We
would like to go green, and use 25% ore renewable energy by 2016. Our goal is to assess global warming
more carefully. We would like to create jobs through our change. Our goal is to make homes and
vehicles more efficient.
Cap carbon emissions like other countries. Companies who refuse to comply will receive fines. If
more than five fines are given in a two year time, the company/factory will be closed until
compliance is reached.
Use funding to produce wind farms and solar farms which will pay themselves off in a few years.
Possibly place some in oceans.
Work with universities and research teams to discover a safe way to drill for oil in Alaska and
elsewhere in the country while preserving the habitat.
Close half of the coal and oil refineries by 2015. Determine if we can close half of what is left by
2017. Only a few left by 2020.
Incentives to companies who produce fuel efficient cars, alternate fuels, hybrids, or discover and
invent a new fuel for a vehicle. Made more affordable as well.
Jobs will be created in the wind and solar farms. Also in the companies who create more
efficient household products.
Incentives to businesses to weatherize homes properly and install proper air/heating units.
Cut importing of oil and fossil fuels from other countries by 75% by 2017.
Keep Obama's Clean Energy Act. This Act includes things such as keeping all sources clean using
nuclear power, efficient natural gas, and renewables and to allow the private sector to make
advancements in energy technologies.
Eliminate fossil fuel subsides.
Incentives to states who teach environmental issues in schools. Schools can receive materials
and funding for such programs.
If our policy is put in place, then we will have a cleaner, more efficient America. We can meet
our own needs without dependence on others. We will save and preserve our environment and create
jobs for future generations in the process. Energy will move towards renewable standards. Homes and
companies will also be more efficient and environmentally friendly. Schools will educate young minds
on the issues to ensure that we will not have to worry about any crisis’ in the future. We will move
toward and efficient, environmentally friendly America.
Social Issues
Education
Our goal on education is to ensure that everyone receives an education. We want to make sure
that every child is entitled to and education. It is our party's goal to increase the emphasis upon
education. It is also our goal to make college more affordable for everyone.
Every child is entitled to an education. It is crucial to our future success.
College will be more affordable. Tuition will no longer be allowed to increase. Schools need to
budget their money more wisely and the government will gladly help fund anything the school
cannot. Colleges who still increase their tuition rates will be fined.
Education will have a bigger emphasis. Teachers will not be hired unless they are willing to put
the time into it. Yes, this does mean extra time to help children. Teacher’s salaries will be
evaluated to see if any raises will be needed.
Standardized testing will occur every other year from kindergarten through a child’s senior year
in high school. Although this is not ideal for children, it will be used as a means to measure if
our children are learning or not.
More government funding on education from cuts in other areas.
Implement rules on schools to spend more money on the school rather than sports.
If our policy is put into place, the future of America will be promising. We will raise our intellect
as a whole. Schooling for all ages will be more affordable and it will actually teach children. With
our policy, we will be more aware of current issues as a nation because of schooling and we will
know how to deal with future issues. Walking hand in hand with education, we will become more
successful.
