 Egypt is located in North Africa
 The longest river in Africa goes through Egypt
 Egypt is hot , dry, arid most of the time
 It rains as little as two inches or less
 The ancient pyramids are located in Giza , Egypt
 The Great Sphinx are located in Giza, Egypt on the west
bank of the Nile River
 Ancient Egyptians staple food was bread, beer,
supplemented by onions or other vegetables and dried
fish
 Egyptians are very particular about how they look like
with makeup and other accessories
 Egyptians boys cut their hair short so that their ears will
show, but both boy and girls shave their head and use a
wig to keep their head cool especially
 Egyptians would get together to pray to the king and
gods
 They also got together for big celebrations
 Extended family would combine with others to help
herd and follow cattle
 Egyptians would have huge celebration frequently
 Egyptians got together to elect kings
 In the ancient times Egypt used rope trusses to stiffen the

the toys in Egypt

crocodiles.
 Egyptians favorite entertainment was board games, like
Hounds and Jackals
 Wealthy Egyptians had parties for entertainment

