Number Patterns
In this exercise set you’re going to use inductive reasoning to look for
the next number or letter in a sequence. “How will I find it?” you might
ask. You’ll have to guess. Your guess, however, should be a good guess
– not a wild one. One way to do this is to look for at the differences
between the numbers. A second way is to look for a common multiplier.
A third way is to be on the lookout for perfect squares.
