How to Convert Multiple Choice Questions in Word to
PowerPoint
The newest version of CPS software will be released in July. One of the most exciting
updates is the increased PowerPoint functionality. With this new feature, teachers can
create all of their questions on Microsoft PowerPoint slides and import them into the
CPS system. This allows for easier use of graphics and equations. Additionally,
teachers can convert multiple choice questions currently in Microsoft Word format to
PowerPoint slides to use in the system. This document describes this process.
1. Open the Word document that contains the multiple choice questions.
2. Make sure answer choices are listed on separate rows. See example
below:
Correct

do not have cell walls?
a. plants
b. fungi
c. bacteria
d. animals
